Santa Fe

So Day 2 of our road trip we are officially out of Texas. Enjoying Santa Fe, NM. The weather here is unbelievable. No humidity!!! This is a pic of us at an outdoor concert this evening.

Last night in Texas

So...we've made it to Amarillo so far. Decided to hit up The Big Texan tonight for dinner. Here are a few pics from our trip. We'll miss you Lone Star State!

Goodbye, Beautiful Comal River!

So this was our last hurrah in Texas. My sister organized a great river trip for us to celebrate our last weekend before the big move. We had a blast. Here's a pic of the ladies enjoying our beautiful Texas evening.

Out of Corpus!

Our stuff is on its way to Sitka as we speak, so now we are homeless for a bit. We're hanging out around El Campo for the next week or so until we set out on our cross-country adventure on the 13th. I can't believe how fast time is flying.

Finally finished!

So as of yesterday, I have finished my Master's! Woo hoo! My thesis seminar and oral exams were yesterday morning. I am so relieved to be done. Now I can relax! :)

Less than a month in Corpus!

I can't believe it's already almost time to move! The family gave us a great going away party this past weekend (which of course I didn't take any pics of because we were too busy having fun!). So, I decided to put up pics from the Coast Guard day at the CC Hooks game that we went to a couple of weeks ago. We really have enjoyed it here and will miss it! We'll really miss our Corpus Christi family!

Sold!

Well it looks like we have sold our house. This is just our first step towards Alaska! Time is just flying by, and July will be here before you know it. We are very excited about moving, but we'll always miss our first home.
